Facilities

The two function rooms are named after significant pastoralists involved with Hummocks Station during the 19th Century; the Barr Smith and the Matheson Rooms. They have a connecting doorway and are adjacent to a large commercial kitchen which is available for caterer’s use. The walls have a regularly changing collection of art work by local artists

The Barr Smith Room is particularly suitable for pre dinner drinks, meetings or boutique conferences. It boasts a newly fitted historic chandelier which is said to have come from the Prospect Police Station. The Matheson Dining Room is a large room capable of holding up to 100 persons. Both rooms are heated with a slow combustion stove and cooled via an evaporative cooler. There are several ceiling fans in each room.

Hummocks Station is the perfect setting for weddings, parties, reunions, groups, themed dinners, boutique conferences, and more. We can recommend excellent local caterers for your function and assist you in choosing the best drink package to suit you.    

When the function rooms are booked, accommodation can be reserved exclusively for function guests. Enquire when booking.
